I've always loved military style, riding boots. And have owned many a vinyl "fake leather" pair, but they always fall apart within a year or so. Having used real leather for years in cosplay, I knew I wanted a pair of real leather boots. Something to last me the rest of my life, with care. I also knew I wanted something timeless looking, without all the straps and extra stuff you can find on boots today.Finding these felt like a dream.The leather is gorgeous and smells amazing. Fit is a bit tight around the ankle, but it helps to re-lace. Plus, it will loosen as the boot is worn and fits me better and better. Going to order some of the waterproofing balm soon.A+Could not be happier.Very well made, very stylish, very comfortable — IF you size up. I own four other pairs of Frye boots in a 7 and I debated between 7.5 and 8, but ultimately decided I didn’t *need* to wear thick socks with these so I went with the 7.5 pair I exchanged the 7’s for. Be prepared to size up, up to a whole size.I’m a size 5. After reading the reviews about the fit running small, I decided to order the 5.5 and it fits my foot really well. The laces are crazy long, but nothing a pair of scissors couldn’t fix.Nice boots, love the leather but calf is too wide.The 5.5 fit as a expected (I did not need to size up). Very comfortable and looking forward to wearing these out when more places can open!Love them!These boots are SO GORGEOUS BUT, the US size 8 which should fit a UK 6 was more like a UK 4. I was absolutely GUTTED & had to return them. My feet are actually a UK 5.5/EU 38 & I have x3 other pairs of Frye boots in US 7.5 & 8; I never imagined that these boots could fit SO SMALL!!!Very comfortable, look good, perfect fit, wouldn't mind having same with a 2"- 3" heel (like on Sabrina, Karen or Savannah Combat)Beautiful leather and very comfortable. I was hoping to finally find a pair of boots that would fit my smaller calves. However, even when laced as tight as possible still a bit to big. I am a size 9
