These are great for kids who can’t tie their shoes, kids with special needs or even for kids and adults who just want to slip on their shoes and go without the hassle of tying and retying throughout the day. Us teachers especially, tend to spend a lot of time tying little ones shoes. It helps that they can turn any cute shoe (with laces) into slip ons, making everyone’s job easier. My kids just slip on their shoes at home (because the laces are stretchy) and I can send them to school with confidence. It helps knowing their teachers don’t have to tie their shoes for them or mess with replacing the laces because they just let them drag across the black top and fray the ends. Also it’s important to mention that the two ends screw together. So if, for whatever reason, they come unscrewed, they are easy to reattach. It’s only happened a few times, but my kids can easily just bend over and screw them back on themselves. Why they would rather do that than just tie the shoe is beyond me. Overall it’s completely worth the purchase. A teacher will thank you. You might even thank yourself. Really.I bought one pair and laces up my sneakers. As soon as I was done putting them on and tried on my sneaks I was convinced they would be perfect. Just bought 3 more pair. I also see they sell laces in multi color. One suggestion..check once in a whileto make sure the metal ends are tight. So comfortable!I bought these based on the reviews and I'm so happy I did. The good things about these is they are very stretchy and I don't have to tie them. I wear my shoes to the gym and these laces have held up great. So now the fun part. When you lace your shoes you have to have them on your feet because the laces are so stretchy they will pull your shoes to tight when you lace them. It comes with agent things that are hard to use so I just threw them away. Once you put the silver clasps on you have to tie it in a knot and then cut it. It takes a couple of tries to get it just right. Once you have them connected it's great! You also get a spare lace in case you need it. I got both the black and white. I would definitely buy again..These are great for kids that can’t tie yet.
